"A girl who was trying to figure out life and love and relationships and started asking a shit ton of questions. The more questions I asked, the more questions I got. Everybody had a different version, and every community had a different version — and so hence this lexicon was born."
This is not a glossary. It is a philosophical map that connects ancient wisdom traditions to present-day relational confusion to the questions that are coming whether we are ready for them or not.
The method is genealogy as critique: tracing where concepts came from, exposing the assumptions baked into their origins, and using that excavation to imagine things differently. Most people who write about the future of sex start from the present and project forward. This project uses the past to defamiliarize the present so the future becomes imaginable differently.
Good sex and good relationships require a shared operating language. This lexicon is a tool for building one.
